![]() Gogo, as she was affectionately called by her family, is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Joe Noel, a son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Betty Kelly, one stepdaughter Donna Scott Bronaugh seven grandchildren, Eric Young Knoll (Christa), Kelly Knoll Slizza (Alex), Sarah Kelly, Jennifer Kelly Bjornstad (Mike), Kathy Noel (Mark Hollingsworth), Karen Noel (Nikki Brown) and Nora Kelly Alonge (Nick). Always wearing a smile and enjoying the moment, Mary would often catch one off guard with her wry sense of humor. Entertaining family and friends was a great joy and highlight for her. She loved new adventures and for many years was an avid participant of the Kokomo Travel Club. Mary was a 35 year volunteer for the American Red Cross, Life Member of the YWCA, a member of Phi Beta Psi sorority, Monday and Thursday Study Club, a Golden Girl member of Chapter BW – PEO, and served many years as hostess for the Annual Cheer Guild Ball. She was an ordained elder and deacon of First Presbyterian Church and a member of the Westminster Association of the Church. She was always there for her family, her friends, and numerous Kokomo organizations. With this purpose in mind, she did so selflessly, endlessly and lovingly. Mary felt strongly that her purpose in life was to serve others. Scott who also preceded her in death in December 1981. Mary continued that business until November 1962 when she married James L. He owned and operated Kelly Tax Service until his death in November 1959. and Maude (Huddleston) Wilson.Īfter graduating from Ervin Township High School, Mary attended Indiana University in Bloomington on a 4H scholarship.
